12 month Rough Collie Male

MUFFIN
Muffin is a 12 month very friendly brown girl, She has done beginners obedience so knows the basics, she loves to play ball and just adores being made a fuss of. Her owners didn't have the time to spend with her that she needs so she has found herself needing a new home. MAX IV Max IV is a 9yr boy, he is good with other dogs, doesn't know cats. He'd rather live with older children, isn't too keen on toddlers. Max loves his ball and really enjoys his walks, he is house trained and is a friendly dog. His owners are emigrating and sadly max can't go with. ROCKY Rocky was found as a stray very weak and barely able to stand, few days at the vet sorted him out but he remained unclaimed and we were called to help. He is 10 or 11 months old, retriever cross collie and super friendly! Typical pup who just wants to live life up and play! JEFF Jeff is a collie cross pup, only barely a year old. He does have pale patches of brown on him as well. Has an under bite just like a Pekinese? Very friendly boy with a super temperament! Sadly an unclaimed stray :-( WOODY Woody was found quite matted as a stray, he was sadly unclaimed so now need a new home. Very difficult to age! His teeth are fantastic but we think he could be between 6 and 8yrs old, he’s a very friendly dog who is good with other dogs and loves to be with people and made a fuss of. SNOETJIE Snoetjie is a 7yr male, he is good with children and other dogs, he's generally a quiet dog who is a little bit wary of strangers but will play immediately when invited to play fetch. His eldery owners have to move to a retirement complex where bigger dogs sadly aren't allowed. MAX III Max is a friendly male about 12-18 months old, he was an unclaimed stray :-( Busy boy full of energy and the joy of life, he is good with other dogs and is a very friendly dog who loves people! LADDIE Laddie is a male tri-colour BC just over 1yr old, he was thrown out of the boot of a car at a garage in Dullstroom and the "owners" sped off and left him there. He is a gentle dog who is good with other dogs and cats, quite a “talkie” boy, not as in barking but he usually has a lot to tell you! He can clear a 6ft fence with ease so will need a very secure property. MOUNTIE "Mountie" is a super friendly male about 12 to 18 months old, probably a GSD x BC he was found as a stray in the Eastern Cape and nobody claimed him so he found himself on a flight to Joburg to us. Good with other dogs and he loves to play with them, acts like a pup and has the most stunning nature, very soft dog. TABAK Tabak is a 2yr male Border Spangi :-) Body of a corgi, curly spaniel coat but mum was a Border Collie :) Just wants to cuddle! Great with other dogs but a busy boy, his owners moved to a smaller property and Tabak was getting increasingly frustrated at the lack of space. He’s an awesome little dog! Sits, Downs, Gives both paws and rolls over for you. Great with other dogs and children and is a fantastic family dog! CORY Cory is a 5yr ball mad female, she loves water and obviously adores her ball/kong/Frisbee, if you throw it, she’ll fetch it! Her coat is quite thin at the moment as she had been suffering from a flea bite allergy which living on a plot was hard to control, she also had a litter of pups 3 months ago and this also affected her condition. All of this just needs a good diet and time and she’ll be looking stunning again in a few months. She is good with other dogs, cats and children and is an all round friendly outgoing girl. JASPER THE ROUGH Yes there is a dog underneath there :-( Jasper the Rough Collie, coat soooo matted it came off in one piece. Afraid Jasper is going to look a bit of a twonk for a few months! Jaspers original owners had to move and he has been staying with different friends and friends of friends until he landed up with a lady who was horrified at his condition. He has really come out of his shell now and desperately needs some hair to grow on his tail or we are all going to end up with black and blue legs! He loves nothing more than company and just adores to be made a fuss of and loved! He is good with other dogs but would prefer female canine company. Like many collies he isn't too keen on thunder but is fine as long as he is allowed inside. Jasper is around 7yrs old, trying to get his KUSA papers which we will pass onto his new owners if we are successful! LEILA Leila is a pretty little tri colour about 8 months old, she is good with children and dogs and is a friendly little girl once she has decided you're safe, can be a wee bit nervous to approach you but nothing a piece of biltong won't overcome! PRINCE Prince loves his pool, he's a BC cross retriever 2yrs old, good with other dogs and children and he has a very loving nature. Takes him a few minutes to come to you but if win his approval you'll have a friend for life JASON and WISPA Pair of oldies need a home together, Jason is a KUSA reg Pembrokeshire Corgi and Wispa a KUSA reg female BC, both are 13yrs old. The owner isn't going anywhere until they have been homed and are settled. They both love to play ball and are social with other dogs but don;t really "do" cats. Being oldies they would prefer older children, haven't got the patience to put up with toddlers anymore. Jason rolls over if you tell him "Microsoft" and barks along with "how much is that doggy in the window..woof woof". FIONA Fiona is a 5yrs female, loves her walks, water and playtime and is good with children, she is very friendly with humans and other dogs, her owner is moving and possibly emigrating so she needs to find a loving home. ZOE Zoe is a female about 4 yrs old, rescued from abusive owners in JNB. She has been through her basic obedience training, did very well & is of course very BRIGHT, ALERT & OBEDIENT. She is part of a pack of 8 dogs, well socialized with GSD, Maltese, Yorkie, Peeks etc. She loves people, kids, toys, retrieving, running after birds AND she is very vocal. Walks well on a lead but misbehaves in a car by trying to catch people or cars passing by. She is used to having the run of the house inside & outside + fenced garden. She sleeps inside at night & despite all the exercise, she is a bit overweight. She is just too busy for her current owners who are in White River. MOJO Mojo is a male about 3yrs old, we will have to work on rehabilitating him for a while before he can go home, he really doesn't like strangers, nice dog once he knows you but that takes time! His owner emigrated and couldn’t take him with him, once he gets to know you he will defend you to the hilt! Update: Making huge strides with Mojo, different dog to the one who arrived, becoming a very lovey boy! AQUILLA Aquilla is a really lekker busy 3 or 4yr male tri colour. Originally had terrible mange (hence his name) but he's fully cured and looking stunning now! He was quite scrawny but has put weight on nicely so is now ready to carry on being fattened up in his new home. He’s a really friendly dog for an active family. JASPER Jasper is a very loving boy around 3 to 4yrs old, he was originally knocked over by a car and sadly unclaimed? He is good with other dogs and loves nothing more than to cuddle you :-) CHASE Hi, my name is Chase. I am a Collie X male, about 1.5 years old.I was unwanted (x2) and got dumped. A friendly lady found me, and now we are looking for a new special home for me. I like kids (big and small) and other [mostly female]doggies. She is just full of the joys of life and everybody is a friend, she's great with children, might flatten smaller kiddies in her enthusiasm to say hello though, good with cats, was great in the car today, loves to play and loves her walks! She'd prefer to have male canine company, likes to be Queen Bee :-) SOPHIE Sophie is a 3yrs old BCX female, she's a really friendly loving girl, smooth coated so much easier to keep looking pretty too! She is fantastic with children and other dogs but has a habit of nipping horses :-( We have had her for 4 months now and she really would like to have a family of her own now! Very gentle little girl. Lovely Manners. Housetrained. Wonderful happy little dog, very clean and easy going. Loves to play with other dogs. Loves people and enjoys cuddling up of a night time with either her doggy companions or a human to love. She is a pleasure to have around. She is shy of strangers and takes a few days to come around to new people, but once she is secure in a solid routine, she settles down quickly.
